Elysium Safety Notice
Effective and last updated: 6 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-06
Read this before you connect health data or let Elysium restrict a device. The app asks you to acknowledge it when you turn those features on.
Health and fitness goals
- Elysium is not a medical device and does not give medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
- Set goals that are safe for you. Talk to a doctor before demanding goals, especially if you are pregnant, ill, injured, recovering or take medication.
- Never set goals around restricting food, water, sleep or medication, or that push you through pain.
- Stop and seek help if you feel unwell. Measurements from phones and wearables can be inaccurate or missing.
Restricting devices
- Only restrict devices whose loss is an inconvenience — a TV, a games console, a room's lights. Never anything essential: heating, cooking, water, medical devices, alarms, locks people need to leave, or the means to call for help.
- Do not restrict devices other people use or depend on without their agreement, and never use restrictions on children or vulnerable people as a punishment.
- Keep a physical or manual way to operate every device. Elysium never takes physical control away from you, and every profile has a manual and an emergency override.
- Hubs, networks and cloud services can fail. A device may stay locked or unlocked longer than planned; the app tells you when a hub has not confirmed a change.
Emergencies
Elysium and its support are not emergency services. If health, safety, property or access to something essential is at risk, use the manual override and contact local emergency services.
